Tim Schou releases new EP written in the aftermath of a tough divorce

Ashes On The Shore: Tim Schou releases new EP written in the aftermath of a tough divorce (November 17)

In addition to the already released tracks, the EP features the last and fourth song with the appropriate title "One Last Dance". An uplifting end to the EP that celebrates what has been, and what is yet to come.

The EP is a collection of four heart-wrenching, yet hopeful pop songs about heartbreak, freedom, and loneliness, but also about celebrating life and love. Tim's heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice convey the pain of a broken heart but also articulate the hope for a new beginning, and the act of simply letting go.

Regarding the inspiration behind the EP, Schou says:

"For the past 9 months, I've been going through a divorce. I've lost a friend, I've lost my soulmate, and it feels like a little death after 8 years together. I haven't really had the time to let myself feel, so the songs I've written and those that will follow are a part of my grief and healing process, and in many ways, it's a dedication to my 8-year relationship with a significant woman whom I've been fortunate to love.

Ashes on the Shore is a beautiful and emotionally charged collection of songs that I hope will leave people optimistic and inspired, even when going through tough times.”

The EP is written by Tim Schou and produced by the acclaimed Norwegian producer William Wiik Larsen (Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Akon & Camila Cabelo.

Ashes On The Shore is out November 17th.
