Denmark's Tim Schou Releases New Single "Guilty"

The Danish artist Tim Schou continues his collaboration with the Norwegian star producer Will Larsen on his new single "Guilty," a heartfelt and powerful pop song that explores the pain of letting go of a relationship and feeling guilt.

"When my marriage ended, I felt guilty for letting go and not loving her enough. Even though the decision was mutual, I still struggled with guilt and felt it was not good enough. Despite everything, I wanted the song to sound uplifting and offer some hope in the music, even though the lyrics were sad. With the massive string arrangement and thick poppy synths, I hear hope and see light ahead, as I do when, for example, I listen to 'Coldplay' or 'Jon Bellion,' and I hope that can be heard in this song," says Tim.

Tim Schou has been a fixture in the Danish music scene since his breakout hit "New Tomorrow" with his former band, "A Friend In London," in 2011. He has since released a series of singles and an album, been the "hit-tip of the week" on P4 with the single "Acapella," which has streamed over 10 million times on Spotify, had the album of the week on P4 with the debut album "HERO/LOSER," which received 5/6 stars in GAFFA and distinguished itself with over 150 intimate concerts across the country.

In addition to his solo project, Tim collaborates with various artists and producers such as Ella Henderson, Felix Jaehn, Go Go Berlin, Iris Gold, William Larsen (Ty Dolla Sign, Jessie Reyez, Nico & Vinz), Alma, Ericka Jane, and Thomas Troelsen (Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, etc.), Freja Kirk, and Mattias Kolstrup.

The song is written and produced by Tim Schou and Will Larsen and is the second single from the upcoming EP "Ashes On The Shore," released in November.

"Guilty" will be released on September 15th on Iceberg Records.
