Scatman John

John Larkin, aka Scatman John, was originally a Jazz musician, but had an international dance-pop megahit in 1994 with “Scatman–ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop, and subsequently sold more than 4.5 mil albums, 4.5 mil singles and more than 35 mil compilations worldwide and received 17 gold and 22 platinum awards. John Larkin’s personal story includes turning his stutter into music through scatting. John Larkin lost his battle with cancer in 1999, but the music, the lyrics, the messages and the vibe still speaks to more and more music lovers all over the world.
